What is the Serie A Jersey Quiz?

The Serie A Jersey Quiz is a free daily football shirt game for fans of Italian football. Each round hides a Serie A home shirt behind a 4×4 grid. Reveal the image one square at a time, read the colours and design details, then name the club before your six guesses run out.

The catalog covers Serie A rosters from 2015–16 through 2025–26, with one home shirt for each club in every season. Choose All seasons for the hardest challenge, where the year becomes part of the answer, or lock the game to one season for a focused Italian kit quiz.

How to play the Serie A football jersey game

A new puzzle starts with all 16 squares hidden. The first reveals favour low-information areas, so the opening view gives you a colour and texture without immediately showing the crest or sponsor. Reveal more squares when you need another clue, but remember that every reveal makes the answer easier.

Use the club selector to make a guess. You have six attempts. In All seasons mode, choose both the club and year; in a fixed-season mode, the year is already known and you only need to identify the club. Study the collar, sleeve trim, manufacturer mark, sponsor placement, stripe width and exact shade before committing.

  • Start with the silhouette and the main colours.
  • Compare stripes, halves, sashes and solid shirt layouts.
  • Save the crest, sponsor and central shirt details for later reveals.
  • Share the result after the round without spoiling the shirt image.

Which Serie A clubs are included?

The club pool is tied to each season rather than treated as one permanent list. Across the data range, the quiz can include Atalanta, Bologna, Cagliari, Como, Fiorentina, Genoa, Inter Milan, Juventus, Lazio, Lecce, AC Milan, Napoli, Parma, Roma, Sassuolo, Torino and Udinese, plus the promoted and relegated sides that complete earlier rosters.

Serie A promotion and relegation means every season has its own 20-club membership. Como, Cremonese or Pisa may appear in one roster while another season includes a different promoted side; that is why the club pool and shirt year are kept together in the game data.

That season-first structure also makes older club names easier to recognise without mixing them into the current league table.

Serie A shirt references by season

All 220 records now use locally stored real shirt and product photos selected from a recorded source page for each club and season, so the game stays fast while every answer remains traceable.

Some Italian clubs use a simple base colour while others rely on instantly recognisable stripes, halves or a sash. The grid reveal keeps sponsor text, badge details and manufacturer marks for the later clues. In All seasons mode, sponsor eras and older shirt silhouettes can also narrow the year.

This makes the game useful for both casual fans and serious shirt collectors. Start with the large colour blocks, then look for the collar shape, sleeve cuffs and side panels. A club badge may appear before the sponsor, while a manufacturer logo or a distinctive trim pattern can separate two nearby seasons. If the shirt looks familiar but the answer is not obvious, keep the clue in mind and use another guess rather than rushing. Every round is designed to reward careful observation, football memory and knowledge of Italian club history.
