How to play
Guess before the final stop.
Type a real player from the archive and file the guess. Correct names close the case; misses reveal another franchise. The result card hides the answer, so you can share it without spoiling the daily path.
How does Career Path work?
You start with one franchise from a mystery player’s career. Enter a player name; every wrong answer reveals the next stop in chronological order. You have five guesses.
Is there a new puzzle every day?
Yes. Daily mode gives every player the same path for the UTC day. Unlimited mode lets you open more player files after finishing the daily game.
Do renamed or relocated franchises count?
The trail uses the franchise name from that part of the player’s career, including historic team names when they help place the era.
Which players can I guess?
The search pool includes current stars and famous retired players. Daily answers come from a smaller set of hand-checked career paths so every clue stays accurate.
Do I need an account?
No. Career Path is free in the browser and the daily result is saved locally on your device.
